Become a Cornerstone Member Family

Thank you for your interest in this organization. To become a CFS member family, you will need to complete this information page, including agreeing to the statement of faith and purpose statement, complying with our definition of homeschooling and the State of Kansas regulations for a private, non-accredited school (including registration), supply a pastoral recommendation form and pass a background check for the parents.

We accept new members with deadlines of July 1st and December 15th to allow timely entrance into activities.

Agree to the Statement of Faith and Purpose Statement (note the CFS definition of homeschooling).
Comply with the definition of homeschooling and the State of Kansas Regulations (including registration).
Have your pastor complete the Pastor Recommendation Form.
Pay the $40 non-refundable application fee. (This covers the cost of the initial background checks.)
Each parent must click here to submit authorization for the background check.

Once your application is complete, you will be contacted to set up an interview (more like a meet-and-greet) so we can get to know you, answer questions, and secure your signature(s) on the statement of faith/purpose statement/definition of homeschool/Kansas regulations/liability waiver.

Once approved, you will pay the annual membership fee (it covers the costs of our website, communications app, liability insurance, and other overhead and was $144/family in 2024). You will be given access to the member side of the website, connected to our communication app and activity coordinators, and be assigned to a cell group leader. You will also go through a new member orientation where you will meet other new members and learn how to use the resources CFS has to offer.
